This shot was taken during a base visit to Larissa Air Base in Greece to primarily shoot the based F-16's and RF-4E Phantoms. During the late afternoon and with little warning, this Greek Air Force C-130B Hercules suddenly appeared on finals and in perfect late afternoon light too.

German soldiers dislocated in Slovakia in connection with the war in Ukraine are supplied almost every Monday by A321neo, A400 or C-130 Hercules aircraft. Today, this C-130J-30 with number 55+03 landed at Bratislava.
