Exactly one year ago, on Nov 1st, 2005, Fischer Air ceased all operations. The last leg was operated with OK-FAN aircraft on a Naples - Prague charter flight. Both B737-300s (OK-FAN and OK-FUN) are stored in Prague on former RWY 22 since that day.

B737-500 (G-THOD) Thomsonfly introduced new schedule from Bournemouth today (every Mo, We, Fr and Su). This airline will continue another new flights from Luton since 03.11. (daily ex Th and Sa). Both are first scheduled nonstop flights operated between Prague and this British cities.

L-410UVP-E reg. RA-67664 (c/n 902526) went through a maintenance in Aircraft Industries facilities in Kunovice and received a new c/s of aircraft company Ilin from Yakutsk-Magan. This aircraft visited as welcomed visitor for local spotters Prague-Ruzyne airport during test flights. Ilin has in their fleet two more L-410UVP-E's, reg. Manx2, operated regular flights with L410 leased from Budapest Aircraft Services from Isle of Man to Blackpool, Belfast and Leeds/Bradford has now also wet-leased another L410, from Czech Silver Air.

Two brand new completed L410UVP-E20 aircraft left this year Letecke zavody factory at Kunovice, which bankrupt's assets bought company Aircraft Industries last year. Both aircrafts are for an brazilian customer: NHT - Linhas Aéreas Ltda company. First aircraft, reg. PR-NHA (c/n 062636) left in May, the second, PR-NHB (c/n 062637), at the beginning of August.

L-410UVP reg. 1504 (c/n 851504) of Czech Air Force is preserved since the end of april in Prague-Kbely aircraft museum. Aircraft was bought in 1992 by Czechoslovak Air Force and after the republic was split the aircraft belonged to Czech Air Force with base at Prague-Kbely.

Bulgarian Air Max added former Farnair L410 HA-LAC (stored at Budapest as T9-AAC) to operate cargo flights between Sofia and Budapest. The registration will be LZ-RML pretty soon.

The L-410s finished their service in Costarica. After the crash of c/n 861620 (reg. YS-09-C) in January 2000, the local Civil Aviation Authority banned the type from flying after finding irregularities in manuals and many other problems. Three UVP machines were in service with Travelair - TI-AXX, c/n 831028 is now in Venezuela with Comeravia as YV-906C; TI-AYH, c/n 851412 was sold to Haiti's Tropical Airways as HH-PRT; and the last one - TI-AWY, c/n 841313 - was scrapped locally at San Jose Tobi...

The Moldavian Tepavia-Trans Ltd. Company, which owns some Antonov aircraft, added to their fleet an L-410UVP at the end of the last year. The plane, c/n 820909, was with Aeroflot as CCCP-67349 (and RA-67349) earlier and was withdrawn from use in 2000.
