The newest airline using L-410UVP-E20 is Take Air Lines from Martinique, receiving their first aircraft in December 2006. The aircraft, c/n 902413 registered F-ORTE, was built for Soviet Air Force in 1990 and later operated by Tulpar at Kazan under the RA-67668 registration.

A Let L410UVP-E16 SP-KTL (902414) was involved in an incident last week. A burst MLG tire during landing in Gdansk forced the aircraft into grass. No injuries were reported.

Slovak Airlines ceased all scheduled flights due to financial problems on 31.01. Two of their planes (F100/OM-AAC and B733/OM-AAE) were confiscated by Austrian Airlines (majority owner of Slovak Airlines). Withdrawal of the last aircraft (B733/OM-AAD) by leasing company AWAS stopped the operations at all and the company is going to declare bankrupcy.
